Cottonwood Creek | Buena Vista, Colorado

We opted for an easy trail this time since Avalanche Gulch left us (okay, just me, Sheena) with some sore thighs. We hiked the North Cottonwood Creek section of the Colorado Trail. Although an easy trail, it was still full of some beautiful sights. The best thing about the trail is it smelled just like a Christmas tree farm and was full of some of the tallest firs we've ever seen in person. Look for Jason in the photos below for reference. Mind blowing. Also, it was not dog friendly, hence Riley in the backpack. 😀
